Using ATMdesk Diagnostics for Field Service
ATMdesk Diagnostics for Field Service runs directly on the ATM’s PC core to test the installed modules.

Using ATMdesk Diagnostics for Repair Centers
With ATMdesk Diagnostics for Repair Centers you can diagnose modules from NCR 58xx and 66xx ATMs in stand-alone mode right in your repair center.
Made for assembly lines and high-volume throughput, these diagnostic tests shorten the time that is necessary to find defects. After the repair is completed, you can print and attach a receipt to the module that confirms that it functions properly.
ATMdesk Diagnostics for Repair Centers runs on any Windows PC or laptop to test individual ATM modules on the desk, during the repair process in a workshop.
With ATMdesk Diagnostics for Repair Centers you can test NCR SelvServ 80, 53xx EasyPoint, 56xx and 58xx Personas, and 66xx SelfServ ATMs and their modules and dispensers such as the S2 Dispenser, SDM2, BRM/GBRU2.
To test SDC devices from NCR Personas ATMs, you must purchase ATMdesk USB-SDC adapter separately.
Using ATMdesk Diagnostics for Repair Centers in the field
This option is especially valuable when the ATM cannot start ATMdesk for Field Service, such as for a broken PC core or disabled startup from external media.
When you use ATMdesk for Repair Centers in the field, your technician must bring a laptop with ATMdesk Diagnostic software installed. Connect the ATM modules to the laptop and then test them normally.
Depending on your ATM configuration an ATMdesk USB-SDC or USB-serial adapters might be required.
ATMdesk License (Month / Year / Tickets)
To use ATMdesk NCR Diagnostic Software you need a ATMdesk USB key and a software license.
Licenses come in two versions: ATMdesk Pro and ATMdesk Pro+. Licenses are time based. You can buy a license valid for one month or for an entire year. Field service licenses are also available as a ticket license.
Ticket licenses allow on-demand use of ATMdesk software. One ticket is valid for one hour from the moment you activate it on the ATM. The next hour requires another ticket and so on. Tickets are loaded into your USB key until you use them.
Repair center licenses are available as one-year term only.
